Well folks! We are almost out of the woods in this process of opening my new firm. Knoxville City sent me their Zoning Letter way ahead of schedule. Which is excellent.
They last major set of paperwork processes is of TREC. I will be sending my Zoning Letter and New Firm Application Docs over to them --- after I make a trip to the notary, in the next 5 business days most likely!
TREC representatives stated on the phone that roughly 2 weeks, or 10 business days, maybe slightly more, might be the waiting time before they approve my new firm --- this time frame starts after they receive and review all of my documents, and would hold true if no additional documents are requested, and no edits to paperwork are needed.
Then they will send some documents and licenses to me in the mail to hang up in my commercial office space.
At that point, the new firm will then be registered, and a new account will be created in the MLS system of KAARMLS, of which I will be head broker --- time frame is not yet known on how long it will take KAARMLS to set up this new account, but I would suspect it would be very quick. I also have to restart my SupraEKey Account, and get that set-up; this is the electronic key and app system that is used to access homes, and also some land in gated communities, like Grande Vista Bay for example, a popular lakefront community in Roane County of Rockwood, Tennessee.
I will not be hiring any new agents. My goal in opening my own firm is to focus on my clients and the practice of real estate to directly and professionally serve:
Currently, roughly 7-10 clients are on a waiting list to list property with my new firm within the first 30-60 days of the launch.

The properties which will be photographed first, and listed first, will be the properties most likely to sell the fastest, the properties that are the most valuable, and the properties with the most desirable proximity to desirable locations (waterfront, wildlife areas, marinas, conveniences, etc.), and other factors as well.
