Professional Photography - Land, Drone, Boat, & Much More

Land, Luxury, and Water Feature Specialist

In the next few days, my business partner and I are going to be working a photography and advertising package for a new potential client.

I thought I would share a bit of this process with visitors to my website to help them understand the work, and investment of time, equipment, and money, that goes into doing in-house, professional photography and advertising for new listing clients.

Side Note: We use the same tools to photograph property for buyers and investors who need us to preview and research property for them when they are shopping from out of town.

One of the parcels of land we will be working on in the coming days is a waterfront lot.

Our goal is to spend several hours at the property, after locating the road-frontage.

We will start by capturing on foot photography while walking the road frontage of the lot from left to right. We will attempt to capture the lay of the land on foot, as much as possible for the time of year.

Then we will launch a drone from the center-point of the road frontage, attempting to give a birds-eye view looking down at the lot, and then looking around at potential views, and then looking at surroundings up higher to help see proximity to waterways, and the features of those navigable waterways.

If practical, and if the distance is not too far, we can also fly the drone into the trees, beneath the canopy to capture more regarding the lay of the land.

In addition, we will attempt to fly the drone toward the back of the lot, or the shore line, and look down at the shoreline, capturing those features as well.

Lastly, we will locate the nearest water access boat ramp area, and launch our boat, bringing our photography equipment, and attempt to capture some pictures and video clips of the waterway and boating experience from the waterway near and around the shoreline.

Hopefully, throughout the course of this process, we will have the opportunity to feature several photos which will depict native wildlife, trees of particular size and beauty or value, wildflower, changing leaves, white-tail deer, waterfowl (ducks, geese, herons, etc.).

Having just gotten our boat back from installing a new motor on it, we are hoping this next trip will be much quieter, allowing us to be less likely to disturb wildlife as we traverse the waterway, and approach the shoreline.

A lot of time and money is invested each year into our travel and photography equipment.

Being avid hunters and fishermen, we understand the importance of conveying the beauty of your unique parcel of land, it's location, it's boundaries, it's proximity to water features, and all that makes it come alive in the images we capture.

Currently, the KAARMLS database allows approximately 60 images, and additional videos. It also allows supplemental documents areas. It is out goal to utilize all of these spaces in a wise, beautiful, and informative manner, that answers every possible question that a potential buyer, investor, or buyer's agent might have about that property, and to make is EASY for a buyer to:

  1. Notice your property.

  2. Click on your property.

  3. Browse your photo gallery.

  4. Learn about your property.

  5. Fall in love with your property.

All buyers have different sets of needs, wants, and goals in mind.

We aim to help buyers quickly and easily discover that your property is the one that fills those check lists for them.
